The research activities of the Nepal Research Group are guided by three specific themes of the JACS South Asia. These themes are approached through the research of various Master and PhD students as well as of senior researchers from Nepal and Switzerland. In addition to the continuation and finalisation of the second phase of the NCCR North-South research the projects of the third phase (July 2009 to June 2013) are operating:


(i) Livelihood realities in the context of globalization

(ii) Development, environment and resource management

(iii) Institutions, governance and conflict transformation
